Our Story
Mapagkalinga is more than a name; it is our promise. Derived from the Filipino word for "nurturing" or "caring," our center was established on January 5, 2020, by Joseph G. Marquez, RPsy.
The clinic was born out of a pressing need: a growing community seeking high-quality, compassionate mental health support. We transitioned from a private practice into a full-service psychosocial hub to ensure that no child, family, or survivor is left to navigate their struggles alone.
Our Vision
To foster a resilient, mentally healthy community where every individual has equitable access to empowering mental health services—standing strong and ready to recover from any crisis.
Our Mission
Direct Service: Providing person-centered care focused on early intervention and holistic healing.
Capacity Building: Strengthening the "frontline" by equipping local partners and BCPCs with specialized psychological skills.
Resilience & Response: Serving as a primary resource for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) before, during, and after disasters.
